Journals Article Page Redesign for Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies

Project Overview
This project involved redesigning the article pages for the Arab Center journals, specifically for the Siyasat Arabiya and Omran journals. As part of a remote contract, my role was to implement the new design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and deliver a ready-to-implement HTML file to the Arab Center's web development team.
Objectives
- Modernize and enhance the visual appeal of the Arab Center journals’ article pages.
- Improve user experience and readability.
- Provide a seamless responsive HTML implementation that aligns with the design provided by the ACRPS UI/UX design team.
Process and Approach
1. Initial Resources
I received images and a PSD file outlining the new design. The design team provided a clear vision, which I translated into a responsive and interactive webpage.
2. Development
Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I implemented the redesign. This included:
- Structuring HTML to maintain clarity and accessibility.
- Styling with CSS for a visually consistent layout that matches the Arab Center’s branding.
- Adding JavaScript for dynamic page elements to enhance user interactivity.
3. Collaboration and Communication
Remote Coordination: Worked closely with the Arab Center’s web development team remotely. Communication was facilitated through a Telegram group and Google Meet meetings.
Feedback and Adjustments: Delivered the HTML file and remained available for feedback, providing fixes and ensuring smooth implementation as necessary.
Outcome
The redesign brought a fresh, engaging look to the article pages, improving usability and aligning with the Arab Center’s branding goals. Sample pages of the completed project are accessible at:
